He has performed over 50,000 Mohs surgery cases and has been voted an Indianapolis Top Doctor from 2011 through 2022.ĭr. Murphy is among the first to achieve certification in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery from the American Board of Dermatology. Murphy is board-certified in dermatology, a Fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology, and a Fellow in the American College of Mohs Surgery. Murphy, MD, founded the Indiana Skin Cancer Center in Greenwood, IN in 2007 and specializes in Mohs surgery and skin examinations for the detection and treatment of skin cancer. She is committed to delivering the highest quality of care to all her patients while being both knowledgeable and approachable. Yu is thrilled to provide industry-leading dermatology care and access to Mohs surgery at our Macedonia practice. Yu enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children, gardening, hiking, and traveling. She has authored over 20 peer reviewed articles and was a member of the Mohs Surgeons Leading the Future: ACMS Foundation Leadership Program, and has given lectures at local, national, and international meetings. Yu is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She has previously also been a member of the Harvard Medical School Learning Environment Committee and a peer tutor in pre-medicine at Harvard College.ĭr. Yu was a Mohs Surgeon at Cleveland Clinic and served as an Assistant Professor in Dermatology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where she served on the Faculty Council. Her areas of expertise include Mohs Micrographic Surgery (Mohs) for skin cancers, cutaneous oncology, and cosmetic dermatology, including neurotoxin injections, such as BOTOX® and Dysport ®, dermal filler, and laser treatments.ĭr.
